How Tees & Things collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible for your information

Tees & Things is a sole proprietorship in Pretoria North, Pretoria. The owner is our Information Officer. Contact us about anything in this policy on WhatsApp at or by email at .

2. What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and, if you choose delivery, your delivery address or PUDO locker.
  • Order details: what you order, quantities, sizes, colours, notes, quotes, invoices and payment records.
  • Your files: the artwork, photos, logos and 3D models you send us.
  • Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, by email or in person about your order.

We don't collect ID numbers, and we never ask for your card or banking passwords.

3. Our online tools

  • The gang sheet builder and custom order page work inside your own browser. Your artwork, details and the quotes or invoices they create are not uploaded to our website. They only reach us when you choose to send them on WhatsApp or by email.
  • Our website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (like IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.

4. Why we use your information

  • To quote, make, deliver and invoice your order.
  • To contact you about your order, payment, collection or delivery.
  • To keep records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
  • To make repeat orders quicker, by keeping your artwork on file.

We only send you marketing messages, like specials, if you've said yes. You can say stop at any time.

5. Who we share it with

  • Couriers (like PUDO), but only the details needed to deliver your parcel, if you choose delivery.
  • Service providers we rely on, like WhatsApp, our email provider and our bank, which process information as part of their services.
  • Authorities, only if the law requires it.

We never sell or rent your information. We don't share your artwork with anyone or use it for anything except your order. We won't show your work as an example without your permission.

6. How long we keep it

  • Quotes, invoices and payment records: for as long as tax law requires, usually 5 years.
  • Artwork files: until you ask us to delete them, so reorders are easy.
  • Messages: for as long as they're useful for your order or any query about it.

7. How we protect it

We keep records on password-protected devices and accounts, limit access to the owner, and keep backups so information isn't lost.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to us using it, and say no to marketing. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Children

Our services are for adults. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should place the order.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
